Nature's Gallery Court: Mosaic Mural Inspires Community Building

The Arboretum and Public Garden Nature’s Gallery Court is hard to miss with over 140 stunning, colorful hand-crafted tiles. The mosaic mural, located in the west-end of the arboretum off of Garrod Drive, has an equally amazing backstory to match its artistic beauty. The tiles feature diverse drought-tolerant plants or insects that can be found in the Ruth Risdon Storer Garden. This unique, high-profile project showcases the talents of the artists, students, community members and educators involved in its creation, and the generosity and support of our benefactors.

Join us to discover the history of this community-driven project through this mini documentary below.
